If you follow the church calendar, you’ve noticed that another church year has ended and a new one has begun. With this, we now enter into the season of Advent: a time of the year when we prepare our hearts to hear again the message of Christ’s birth.
We’ve heard it before, yet each year it reminds us of the ultimate fact of our salvation: that God is with us and that he came to save you. In a busy and distracted world, it’s easy to lose sight of this. Our prayer this year is that God blesses us with the time and space to allow our thoughts to linger on these precious truths that are so important for our lives in Christ.
