Our opening service will be held on Saturday, August 30th at 7:00PM on the fourth floor at ALS. The opening service marks the 21st year of ALS’s existence and the official beginning of the Fall 2025 semester. This year marks the 175th anniversary of WELS, the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod in the United States. Over 400 delegates gathered to hear reports, call leaders, and set the WELS long-range plan which will guide the work of WELS for the next 10 years.
