Our school’s new motto, “Truth Shared,” has three sub-points: be one, be bold, and be true. Throughout this school year, the messages in our worship services will focus on the second of these: be bold. This theme speaks to our courage to plant, teach, and train, even in the face of challenges, and to our commitment to innovation in theological education. We kicked off the theme at our opening service on August 30, where we were reminded that we don’t need to be ashamed of the gospel. Instead, we can boldly proclaim it, because we heard how the Lord watched over the believers of old who went out with his Word. He watches over us, too! We warmly invite you to worship with us this year as we learn to be bold together. “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.” (Romans 1:16)
