We are excited to welcome a new member to the ALS faculty! Professor Dan Witte has accepted the call to serve at Asia Lutheran Seminary. He and his wife, Deb, are now living in a South Asian country, where they are spending a year learning the local language and culture to prepare for his service at ALS. God willing, Professor Witte will be installed at our opening service in August 2027. We thank God for answering the prayer Jesus taught us to pray: “Ask the Lord of the harvest… to send out workers into his harvest field” (Matthew 9:38).
Please join us in praying that God would bless Dan and Deb as they settle into life in a new place and prepare for the work ahead. Welcome to Asia, and welcome to the ALS team!
